All digital sound effects, audio files, and media assets provided on CreatorAssets are dedicated to the public domain under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication.

  • Use, copy, adapt, modify, and distribute the assets for any purpose (personal, commercial, educational, or artistic).
  • Include the assets in monetized YouTube videos, video games, films, podcasts, mobile apps, and websites.
  • Distribute the assets without asking permission and without any requirement to provide attribution (though voluntary attribution is always appreciated!).

1.2 Third-Party & Hidden Rights Disclaimer

While all assets provided on CreatorAssets are dedicated to the public domain regarding copyright, they may be subject to other third-party rights, including but not limited to trademarks, trade dress, patents, or publicity and privacy rights (such as recognizable voices, brand sounds, or proprietary hardware cues). You are solely responsible for determining whether your specific intended use of any asset infringes on any third-party rights and for obtaining any necessary releases or permissions.

1.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attack the website infrastructure (including automated denial-of-service attempts or scraping that degrades platform performance).
  • Falsely claim ownership or exclusive copyright over raw public domain assets downloaded from this platform to issue copyright strikes against other creators.

1.4 User Submissions, Suggestions & Feedback

When you submit suggestions, sound effect ideas, requests, feedback, or any other content to CreatorAssets through our contact form, email, or other communication channels:

  • Non-Confidential: All submissions and communications are provided on a strictly non-confidential and non-proprietary basis.
  • License & Ownership: You grant CreatorAssets LLC a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully transferable, and sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, incorporate into new public domain assets or website features, and otherwise exploit your suggestions without any obligation to compensate, credit, or notify you.
  • No Obligation to Implement: While we love hearing from creators and actively read your feedback, CreatorAssets LLC has no obligation to review, implement, or host any requested audio asset or suggested site feature.

1.5 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CREATORASSETS LLC, ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE OR ANY ASSETS DOWNLOADED FROM THE SERVICE.

ALL ASSETS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

1.6 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CreatorAssets LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the website or any downloaded assets.

1.7 Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

We believe in minimal data collection. We only collect the information necessary to provide and protect the Service:

  • Contact Submissions: If you contact us via our contact form, we collect your email address and message contents solely to respond to your inquiry and improve our sound library.
  • Analytics & Server Logs: We collect aggregated, privacy-friendly diagnostic metrics (such as page views, asset download counts, referring websites, and general browser types) to ensure server reliability and identify popular audio categories.

2.2 Third-Party Services & Cookies

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate and maintain CreatorAssets:

  • Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our contact form against automated spam and Cloudflare Pages/CDN for lightning-fast global asset delivery.
  • Google AdSense: We display advertisements to support our free operations. Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other sites.

2.3 Your Rights

Depending on your location (such as the EU/GDPR or California/CCPA), you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of any contact messages you have submitted to us.
